Project Two: Postal Presents

  1. I like this candy box that the material is easy to find and environmental friendly. The brilliant part of your design is the use of colour. The colour makes your hole design become vogue and warm.

  2. This product is interesting, the way it comes together from small origami shapes to form a container of various sizes is something different. The ability for the pieces to form small and large shapes is fantastic.

However I think the patience needed to make each of the individual pieces that form the whole object would require a lot of time.

  3. This present not only brings enjoyment from using the object and looking at it, it also brings enjoyment through the process that the user must go through to make the product. Folding each piece of the origami bowl and putting them together requires a person with a knack for craft making and patience.

  4. I think how you build the whole thing up just by folding papers into small triangles is very clever. However, if I recieved this as a present, i dont think I'll have the patience to build the whole thing^^"

  5. I loved holding this product, the texture and pattern is very alluring and aesthetical, however i cant say this meets the brief as it seems more like a craft project rather than a product being quickly assembled for use. It would have to take someone very crafty and skilled in origami, definitely not something for the masses. But nonetheless fantastic design and piece of origami!

  6. Wow I love your origami concept, I've always admired the exquisite folded forms of Japanese paper craft.
It would be a very interesting piece to have in the home and would undoubtedly be a conversation starter if the user displayed these containers on their coffee table or somewhere in open view of guests.
In general I imagine most people would not have the patience to make this, as my peers have mentioned above, but it would be great as a mail order product for people with a passionate interest in complex handcraft such as this.
